The inventor of helicopters was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1889. In 1900, at the age of 11, he accompanied his father to Germany and became interested in natural sciences.

At the age of 12, he had built a small rubber-band-powered helicopter.

In 1939, he designed and flew the first practical helicopter, paving the way for the rotor configuration used by most helicopters today.

PROTOTYPE HISTORY

At the beginning of the 19th century, Igor Sikorsky, a Ukrainian student from Kiev, saw a drawing of an aircraft with a Leonardo da Vinci propeller. This gave rise to dreams of a rigged flight in his mind. As a 19-year-old student at Kiev Polytechnic University, Sikorsky designed several models of aircraft, including a helicopter. Sikorsky's first rotorcraft remained grounded, and for several years he focused on aircraft. After 20 years, the engineer returned to helicopters. The machines were designed in the USA and became the forefathers of the world's most successful model series.

Because of their ability to fly at low altitudes, take off and land on small flat surfaces, and hang in the air, helicopters have emerged as the primary type of auxiliary aircraft - rescuers, cargo carriers, and people in remote areas. Passenger transport and flying cranes

HISTORY OF MODELING

When Metal Time's engineers and designers were offered the opportunity to select a ready-made model prototype of a versatile helicopter, they chose Sikorsky's design bureau's helicopter, the UH-60 Black Hawk.

The helicopter was designed in the mid-1970s and is currently in active use. The genres of literature and cinema have often been praised. In director Ridley Scott's famous war drama "The Fall of the Black Hawk" he uses helicopters.

The Lifting Spirit is one of the best examples of aircraft. The identifiable design, the strict aesthetics of the military machine and the many iconic historical references make this model an expected purchase for technology fans.

The reliable Lifting Spirit will help you touch the construction of legendary technology and possibly spark interest in the best engineering facilities on the planet. This model symbolizes speed, power, reliability and an easy upward striving.
